Walking

From Ipanema Beach, walk west along the shoreline, past Jardim de Alah. The transition to Leblon is seamless. The walk from the eastern end of Ipanema to Leblon Beach takes approximately 20-30 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

Public Transport

From Copacabana, take the Metro Line 1 or 4 to Antero de Quental station in Leblon. From the station, it's a short walk to the beach. Alternatively, several bus lines connect Copacabana and Leblon. Today, Leblon is known as one of Rio's most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods.Leblon Beach is separated from Ipanema by the Jardim de Alah canal, creating a distinct boundary between the two beaches. The beach is well-known for its calm waters, making it a popular spot for families with children. Baixo Bebê, located near Posto 12, features a playground for toddlers and young children.Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including sunbathing, swimming, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Joggers and cyclists frequent the shoreline. Beach kiosks offer local cuisine and refreshing drinks.
