Cachoeiras Complexo do Baú: A Waterfall Paradise in Serra da Canastra

Cachoeiras Complexo do Baú is a captivating destination located in the Serra da Canastra region, near Delfinópolis, Minas Gerais. This complex spans 370 hectares of the transitional zone between Cerrado and Mata Atlântica biomes, offering visitors a unique blend of natural beauty and rustic charm. The complex features a series of stunning waterfalls, with twelve in total divided into two areas based on accessibility. Complexo do Baú 1 includes seven easily accessible waterfalls with self-guided trails, such as Cachoeira and Praia da Esmeralda, Cachoeira Neném Fernandes, Cachoeira do Baú e Virtuosa, Cachoeirinha Cristal, Cachoeira do Bambu, and Cachoeira da Caverna. Complexo do Baú 2 features more remote waterfalls that require guided tours, including the magnificent Cachoeira Mãe do Ouro. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming, and simply relaxing amidst the beautiful scenery.
