Tour was very informative and straight to the point. Basically tailored to the needs. Guide (Carlos) is very experienced and it's a real treasure for the tour company.

Good day tour of historical Petropolis
This is a good day tour to see the capitol of Brazil while under Portuguese rule. It took about 2 hours to get there by bus and almost 3 hours to get back. Traffic was bad coming back. My tour guide was Rafael who definitely knew his stuff concerning Petropolis and its history. Interesting part was the tour of the palace as everybody had to wear big slippers over their shoes and you shuffling across the hard wood floors. This tour included a buffet lunch which was good. Overall a great way to see Brazil outside off Rio de Janeiro. By the way Petropolis is almost 1000 meters above sea level and thus it is at least 5 degrees Celsius lower than Rio. So it is colder and you may need as sweater or light coat.
