Several options exist depending on your starting point: * **From Virgin Gorda:** Charter a boat or take a ferry from Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour or Spanish Town to Great Dog Island. Check local ferry schedules and pricing. * **From Tortola:** Take a ferry or private boat from Road Town or Trellis Bay. Some ferries may require a transfer. * **From Scrub Island:** Take a short boat ride from Scrub Island Marina. Check the boat schedule at the resort for departure times and fees. Consider hiring a water taxi for a more direct and private experience. Typical costs for a water taxi range from $450 one way from Beef Island to North Sound. Ferry tickets from St. Thomas to Tortola range from $53-$75. Keep in mind that there may be additional fees such as a $10 environmental tax upon arrival to BVI and a $20 departure tax when leaving the BVI.
