Discover more about Bubbly Pool

Nestled on the northeastern coast of Jost Van Dyke, the Bubbly Pool is a unique natural attraction. This isn't your typical serene Caribbean beach; instead, the Atlantic Ocean's waves crash against the rocks, creating a frothy, bubbling pool that feels like a natural jacuzzi. The pool is formed by waves rushing through a narrow gap in the rocks, filling the pool with foamy, effervescent water. The experience is both thrilling and relaxing, as visitors are tossed about by the waves in a playful manner. The adventure begins with a scenic hike from Foxy's Taboo, a family-owned bar and restaurant. The well-marked trail leads you up a small hill, through a grove of cacti, and past a Manchineel tree (beware, it's poisonous!). The hike is a worthwhile part of the experience, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Once you arrive, relax and enjoy the unique bubbly effect of the waves. Explore the surroundings, take memorable photos, and perhaps build a rock tower like previous adventurers. Before or after your trip to Bubbly Pool, stop by Foxy's Taboo for a refreshing drink or a bite to eat. Be cautious while enjoying the pool. The waves can be powerful, and there are warnings of rip tides. It's best to visit during a moderate north swell and to be aware of your own swimming abilities.
