Discover more about Bubbly Pool

Nestled on the northeastern coast of Jost Van Dyke, the Bubbly Pool is a unique natural attraction. This isn't your typical swimming hole; it's a tidal pool where the Atlantic's waves surge through a natural rock crevasse, transforming it into a bubbly, effervescent jacuzzi. The pool's allure lies in the exhilarating experience of being tossed about by the waves as they crash into the pool, creating a foamy, bubbling spectacle. The Bubbly Pool is most active during high tide and when the north swell is up, typically in the winter months. However, caution is advised, as the sea can be unpredictable. Signs are posted to remind visitors of potential hazards such as rip tides, slippery rocks, and strong currents. To reach this natural wonder, visitors embark on a scenic hike from Foxy's Taboo, a restaurant in Diamond Cay. The well-marked trail leads along the coast, past the Cape Wright Salt Pond, and over a small hill. Along the way, blue dashes painted on trees and wooden placards guide adventurers. The hike takes about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
