    If arriving on Tortola via ferry at Road Town, taxis are available at the ferry terminal. The taxi ride from Road Town to Canefield House in Leonards will take approximately 15-20 minutes. The estimated taxi fare is $20-$30. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from St. Thomas to Road Town, Tortola, with multiple daily departures. The villa occupies a ten-acre plot that was once a 17th-century sugarcane plantation. The property's name is derived from its history as a cane field.At 1,500 feet above sea level, Canefield House benefits from constant hillside trade winds and offers stunning views. The estate features three separate houses—Main, Master, and Guest—connected by tiled walkways amidst vibrant tropical flora. Guests can enjoy a central pool and sun deck, as well as fruit-bearing trees such as banana, coconut, grapefruit, mango, and papaya.The villa is divided into separate pods connected by garden pathways. The Main House includes a Great Room, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and a dining area. The Master pavilion offers a secluded king master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and private terrace. The Blue and Green Suites in the guest bedroom pavilion provide flexible sleeping arrangements. Canefield House offers a secluded location for relaxation and unwinding, with quick access to the beautiful beaches of the north shore, including Cane Garden Bay.
