Located just off the coast of Beef Island, near Tortola, this tiny island is easily accessible and provides a tranquil escape.Originally uninhabited, Marina Cay gained fame in the late 1930s when American authors Robb and Rodie White made it their home. They built a house, cultivated a garden, and wrote about their experiences, capturing the imagination of readers with tales of island life. Their book, 'Our Virgin Island,' was later adapted into a film. The island's history also includes a period as 'Cuervo Nation' under Jose Cuervo Tequila, and later, the popular Pusser's Marina Cay Resort.Today, Marina Cay is managed by Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina and features the Marina Cay Bar & Grill. Visitors can enjoy stunning beaches, clear turquoise waters, and a variety of activities. Snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and paddleboarding are popular, with opportunities to explore vibrant marine life and coral reefs.
