Getting There

  • Ferry and Taxi

    From Road Town, Tortola, take a Speedy's or Smith's Ferry to Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda. The ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes and costs around $20 one way or $30 round trip. Upon arrival at the Spanish Town ferry dock, taxis are readily available. A taxi to The Baths, located about 1.2 miles south of Spanish Town, will cost approximately $4-7 per person. Alternatively, a taxi from the ferry dock to Leverick Bay or Gun Creek in North Sound will cost around $30.

  • Car Rental

    Renting a car at Virgin Gorda Airport (VIJ) or in Spanish Town provides flexibility in exploring the island. Several rental companies operate on the island, including Speedy's Car Rentals and Mahogany Car Rentals. Expect to pay $50-$90 or more per day for a basic rental. A temporary BVI driver's license costs $10. From the airport or Spanish Town, follow the main road south towards The Baths. Parking is available near The Baths National Park entrance.
