    The most common way to reach Jost Van Dyke is by ferry from Tortola. Ferries run multiple times a day from West End, Tortola (Soper's Hole) to Jost Van Dyke's ferry dock in Great Harbour. The ferry ride takes approximately 20-25 minutes. A round trip ticket costs around $30 for adults and may be slightly less for children. From the U.S. Virgin Islands, there are some ferries during the weekends departing from Red Hook, Saint Thomas via Cruz Bay, Saint John. Sailing time is 60 min from Red Hook or 30 min from Cruz Bay. Adult round trip tickets cost approximately $120, and $100 for children. There is also a $30 customs fee per person.

  • Water Taxi

    For a more customized trip, you can arrive by private boat charter or water taxi. Many day excursion boats from Tortola, St. Thomas, or St. John include JVD on their itinerary.
