Getting there

Walking

From the center of West End, head east on the main road towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, you can catch a ferry to Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas. The ferry ride typically takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Charlotte Amalie terminal, exit the ferry and walk towards the main road. Continue walking along the road and look for signs directing you to Bluebeard's Castle. It is located at 1331 Estate Taarneberg on Bluebeard Loop, approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

Taxi

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from West End to the ferry terminal. Once you arrive at the Charlotte Amalie ferry terminal, you can either walk to Bluebeard's Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk, or you can take another taxi directly to the castle. Make sure to tell the taxi driver your destination: 'Bluebeard's Castle, 1331 Estate Taarneberg, Charlotte Amalie'.

Public Transport

You can also utilize local public transport. From West End, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Charlotte Amalie. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Charlotte Amalie, ask the driver to let you off near the ferry terminal. From there, you can follow the directions for walking to Bluebeard's Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk.
