Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, head towards the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Once you reach the mosque, continue walking west along Jalan Sultan. After about 1 km, you will reach the junction with Jalan Tutong. At this junction, turn left onto Jalan Tutong. Continue walking for approximately 2 km until you reach a bus stop. From there, you can take a local bus heading towards Berakas. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Berakas Forest Reserve. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the park.

Public Bus
Start from the center of Bandar Seri Begawan and walk to the nearest bus terminal, which is located at the Yayasan Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Complex. Look for buses heading towards the Berakas area. Board the bus that is going towards Berakas and stay on until you reach the stop nearest to Berakas Forest Reserve. Make sure to ask the bus driver for assistance regarding the stop, as they are familiar with tourist destinations.

Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the central area of Bandar Seri Begawan. Head towards the waterfront and then make your way to Jalan Sultan. Biking along Jalan Sultan, continue until you reach the junction with Jalan Tutong. Turn left on Jalan Tutong and follow the road for about 3 km until you see the signs for Berakas Forest Reserve. The park entrance will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the roads.
