The park itself spans 234 hectares and is located approximately 15 kilometers from Bandar Seri Begawan, accessible via the Muara–Tutong Highway. Originally a cattle farm, the area was developed with jogging and hiking trails in 1980 and fully transformed into a forest recreation park in 1998. Today, it features native kerangas woodland, stands of Acacia mangium and Caribbean pine trees, children's play areas, workout equipment, and observation towers.
