If you are driving, head towards Bandar Seri Begawan via Jalan Tutong. Follow the signs to the city center. Once in the city, look for signs directing you to Kampong Ayer. Park your vehicle in one of the designated parking areas near the waterfront. From the parking area, walk towards the jetty where you can catch a water taxi to Kampong Ayer. The fare for the water taxi is approximately BND 1-2 per person, depending on your destination within the village.

Public Transportation
To reach Kampong Ayer using public transportation, take a minibus from any major bus terminal in Bandar Seri Begawan heading towards the city center. Once you arrive at the city, walk towards the waterfront area. Look for signs that lead to the Kampong Ayer jetty. You will need to pay for a water taxi to take you to the village, which costs about BND 1-2 per person. Ensure you have small change ready for the fare.

If you are already in the city center, you can walk to the Kampong Ayer jetty. Head towards the waterfront area near the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Follow the promenade along the river until you reach the jetty. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once at the jetty, board a water taxi to reach various parts of Kampong Ayer. The fare for the water taxi is around BND 1-2 per person.
