Peradayan Forest Reserve, spanning 2,650 hectares (10.2 sq mi), is a protected nature reserve in the Temburong District of Brunei, approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) from Bangar town. This untouched sanctuary is celebrated for its rich biodiversity and pristine landscapes. Visitors are immediately greeted by the symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves, setting the stage for exploration.The reserve is home to a diverse array of flora and fauna, including exotic birds, vibrant butterflies, and towering trees that have stood for centuries. Marked trails cater to various skill levels, inviting visitors to embark on hiking adventures. Birdwatchers can spot rare species native to the region, while others may simply enjoy moments of reflection amidst the tranquil scenery.The park's 1.6km forest trail guides walkers through the mountains, taking about 2 hours to complete. Visitors can also climb the twin hills of Bukit Peradayan (410m) and Bukit Patoi (310m), with picnic shelters available along the way. A highlight of Peradayan is its unusual caves and rock formations, best explored with a guide. The viewpoint at the peak of Bukit Patoi offers the best vistas in the reserve, with views of Sarawak and the South China Sea on clear days.
