As you approach the city, you will want to look for Jalan Kota Batu. Continue on this road until you reach the waterfront area. You may have to find parking in the vicinity of the waterfront, as Kampong Ayer is not directly accessible by car. Parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some cash.

Public Transport
From Tutong District, you can take a bus to Bandar Seri Begawan. Look for the local bus service that operates between Tutong and the capital. The bus ride will take about an hour. Once in Bandar Seri Begawan, disembark at a central location such as the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanai Bolkiah Complex. From there, you can either walk towards the waterfront or take a local water taxi to Kampong Ayer. The water taxi is affordable, usually costing around BND 1-2 per person, and will take you directly to the Water Village Settlement.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Tutong to Bandar Seri Begawan. This option may be more expensive, ranging from BND 30-50 depending on negotiation and time of day. The taxi will take you directly to a drop-off point near the waterfront, from where you can take a water taxi to Kampong Ayer. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
