Discover more about Сад синяя волна

Nestled within the larger Balchik Botanical Garden, the Blue Wave Garden, or Сад синяя волна, offers a tranquil retreat with breathtaking vistas of the Black Sea. This garden was established on the lowest coastal terrace between 1930 and 1933. Stone-paved paths meander through the garden, dividing it into distinct sections. Here, visitors can admire magnolias, roses, and other rare plants. The garden is part of the architectural and park complex known as the Balchik Palace, initially created as a summer residence for Romanian Queen Marie (1875-1938). She sought a peaceful retreat and became deeply involved in designing her "Quiet Nest" in Balchik. The garden combines Eastern and Western influences, blending Christian and Muslim traditions, various historical periods, and diverse styles of flowers and plants. The Blue Wave Garden provides a soothing experience with its floral displays and gentle sea breeze. It's an ideal location for photography enthusiasts and those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The garden's romantic ambiance is enhanced by the dynamic colors and the calming sounds of flowing water.
