If you are traveling by car from Borovets, start at the center of the resort. Head southeast on the main road towards the ski area. Follow the signs for E79 and then take the turn-off towards the 'Искровете' (Iskrovete) area. Continue along the winding road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. Once you see signs for Езеро Искровете, take a left turn and follow the narrow road until you reach the parking area near the lake. Please note that parking fees may apply.

To reach Езеро Искровете using public transportation, start at the main bus stop in Borovets. Look for a local bus that heads towards the Искровете area. Buses may run infrequently, so check the schedule in advance. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Езеро Искровете and follow the walking path for about 10-15 minutes to reach the lake. Be prepared for a short hike on foot to enjoy the scenery.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Borovets to Езеро Искровете, start at the main square and head south towards the ski lifts. Continue on the forest path that leads out of the resort. After approximately 1 hour of walking, you will arrive at the lake. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be uneven.
