Bus
From Burgas city center, head to the Central Bus Station located on 'Aleksandrovska' Street. Look for buses heading to Nessebar. You can catch buses numbered 5 or 15. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Nessebar, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the old town (Staria Grad) by following the signs. The Nesebar Archaeological Museum is located on 'ul. Mesembrija 2', just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Minibus
You can also take a minibus from Burgas to Nessebar. The minibus station is located near the Central Bus Station. Look for the minibuses that display 'Nessebar' on their front. They depart frequently and will take you directly to Nessebar in about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nessebar, walk towards the old town (Staria Grad). The Nesebar Archaeological Museum is on 'ul. Mesembrija 2', about a 10-minute walk from where the minibus drops you off.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Burgas to Nessebar. Taxis are available throughout the city. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. If you are already in Nessebar and want to reach the Nesebar Archaeological Museum by foot, head towards the old town (Staria Grad). The museum is located on 'ul. Mesembrija 2'. You can follow the coastal promenade towards the old town, passing by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the old town, look for signs directing you to the museum, which should be a short and pleasant walk away.
