If driving from Chepelare, head southwest on the main road (E80) towards Smolyan. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the well-marked turn-off for Местност Иглите. Turn left and follow the signs to the parking area near the lakes. Parking is free in designated spots.

To reach Местност Иглите via public transport, take a bus from Chepelare to Smolyan; buses run frequently, costing around 2-3 BGN. From Smolyan, take a taxi directly to Местност Иглите for approximately 10-15 BGN or find local buses/shuttles to the lakes area. Check the return schedule for buses back to Chepelare.

If walking from Smolyan, start from the city center and walk towards D. Blagoev St. Continue straight until you reach the lakes; this walk is approximately 1.5 hours. Alternatively, for a longer hike from Chepelare (approximately 12 km, 3-4 hours), follow the main road towards Smolyan until the Местност Иглите turn-off. Be prepared with water and snacks.
