Car
From Bansko, drive towards Pirin National Park. Follow the signs for Vihren Hut or Banderitsa Hut. After approximately 8 kilometers, you might need to pay a small entrance fee of around 5 BGN to enter the park. Continue for another 3 kilometers to the parking area near the trailhead. From 'Banderitsa Camping' it is a 3 minute walk up the wooden stairs to Baikushev's pine. Note that the road may be closed for cars from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the summer. Parking is available at Banderitsa hut.

Public Transport
Take a bus from Bansko to Banderitsa refuge. Buses may run hourly. From the Banderitsa refuge, it is a short walk to Baikushev's Pine. Bus ticket costs approximately 2 BGN. Alternatively, take a bus from Bansko to Dobrinishte for around 2 BGN. From Dobrinishte, a taxi to the Pirin National Park entrance will cost approximately 10-15 BGN. From there, walk about 30 minutes or take a park shuttle to the parking area near Baikushev's Pine.

From Bansko town center, walk east towards the road leading to Baikushev's Pine. The walk is approximately 4 km and takes about 1 hour. Follow the marked path, enjoying views of the Pirin Mountains. Be prepared for a moderate hike.
