Getting there

Walking

From the center of Bansko, the viewpoint is within walking distance. Head southwest on Pirin Street, following signs towards Pirin National Park. Continue until the junction with the road leading to the ski lifts. Follow the signs for the Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. The walk from the town center takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Be prepared for a moderately steep incline.

Public Transport

From Bansko, take a local bus to the ski lift area. Buses run frequently; check the schedule at the Bansko bus station. From the ski lift area, follow the signs to the Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. The hike from the ski lift station to the viewpoint is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Be prepared for steep and rocky terrain; wear appropriate footwear. Bus fare is approximately 2-3 BGN.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Bansko. A taxi from the town center to the base of the hiking trail leading to the viewpoint typically costs between 10-15 BGN. Confirm the fare with the driver beforehand. From the drop-off point, it's a 30-45 minute hike to the viewpoint.

Driving

From Bansko town center, head southwest on Pirin Street towards Pirin National Park. Continue to the junction with the road leading to the ski lifts. Follow the signs for Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. Turn right and follow the winding road for about 1.5 km until you reach the parking area at the viewpoint. Parking is free. Note that the road can be winding and may be icy in winter.
