Car
If you're driving, head towards the town of Kazanlak. From Kazanlak, take the road towards Shipka Pass. Continue on this road until you see signs for the Buzludzha Monument. There will be a turn-off (on your right) marked with a sign for the monument. The road leading to the monument is unpaved and steep, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the monument.
Public Transportation
To reach the Buzludzha Monument using public transport, take a bus from Dobrich to Kazanlak. The bus service is frequent, but you should check the latest schedules. Once in Kazanlak, you will need to take a taxi to the Buzludzha Monument. The taxi ride will cost approximately 20-30 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) and takes about 20 minutes. Ensure that the taxi driver is familiar with the location, as it is relatively remote.
Hiking
For the adventurous, consider hiking from the nearest village, which is about 5 km away from the monument. There are trails that lead directly to the monument, but be prepared for a challenging trek. Always carry water and wear appropriate hiking gear. This is a free option, but be cautious of the weather and your physical fitness.
