Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in Dobruja, you will first need to navigate to Veliko Tarnovo. Use the A2 highway and follow signs for Veliko Tarnovo. Once you enter the city, look for signs directing you to Tsarevets Fortress, which is located at Tsar Asen Square, 5000 Veliko Tarnovo. There are parking facilities nearby where you can leave your car before heading to the fortress.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest major city in Dobruja (like Varna or Burgas) to Veliko Tarnovo. Buses frequently operate from these cities, and you can check schedules online or at the bus station. Once you arrive at the Veliko Tarnovo bus station, you can either take a local taxi to Tsarevets Fortress (approximately 10 minutes) or walk (around 25 minutes).
