From the center of Gabrovo, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take a bus heading towards 'Hotnitsa' or nearby villages. Buses typically run every 30-60 minutes depending on the time of day. Once on the bus, you will travel for about 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye out for the stop 'Hotnitsa' as it is the closest to the waterfall. After getting off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1 km towards the waterfall. Follow the road signs that indicate the direction to 'Hotnitsa Waterfall' which will guide you along a scenic path.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Gabrovo to Hotnitsa Waterfall, start from the main square (Ploshtad Vuzrazhdane). Head east on Tsanko Dyustabanov Street until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Hristo Botev Street and continue until you reach the outskirts of town. After about 3 km, you will see signs for Hotnitsa. Follow those signs, and after another 2 km, you will arrive at the waterfall area. This route is approximately 5 km long and will take you about 1.5 hours to walk.
