Car
From Malyovitsa, head south on the main road (E-79) towards Samokov. Continue straight for approximately 13 km until you reach the town of Samokov. Once in Samokov, follow the signs for 'Tsarska Bistritsa.' Turn left onto the road that leads to the Tsarska Bistritsa area. The drive will take about 30 minutes, and parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Tsarska Bistritsa from Malyovitsa using public transport, first take a local bus or a taxi to Samokov. The bus station in Malyovitsa is at the center of the village. Buses to Samokov run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Samokov, you can either walk to Tsarska Bistritsa, which is about 3 km away, or take a taxi. Ensure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand; it should cost around 5-10 BGN. Note that the last bus back to Malyovitsa typically leaves Samokov in the late afternoon.
Walking
If you prefer walking from Samokov to Tsarska Bistritsa, you can take the scenic route. From the center of Samokov, head southwest on 'Tsarska Bistritsa' street, following the signs for approximately 3 km. The walk will take about 40-50 minutes, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature and a chance to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
