If you are traveling by car, you can start from the town of Bansko. Head north on the main road (E79) and follow the signs for Pirin National Park. After about 8 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to the park where you may need to pay a small entrance fee (approximately 5 BGN). Continue driving for another 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the trailhead for Baikushev's Pine. From the parking area, it is a short 15-minute walk along a marked trail to reach the famous tree.

To reach Baikushev's Pine using public transportation, take a bus from Bansko to the town of Dobrinishte. Buses run frequently and the ticket should cost around 2 BGN. Once in Dobrinishte, you will need to take a taxi to the entrance of Pirin National Park, which should cost about 10-15 BGN.
