Car
If you are driving from Bansko town center, head southwest on Pirin Street towards the direction of the Pirin National Park. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the road leading to the ski lifts. Follow the signs for the Bansko ski area and take the road to the left leading to the ski lifts. After approximately 3 km, you will see a sign for Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. Turn right and follow the winding road for about 1.5 km until you reach the parking area at the viewpoint. Note that there is no fee for parking.
Public Transportation
From Bansko, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach the ski lift area. Buses run frequently, and you can check the local schedule at the Bansko bus station. Once you arrive at the ski lift area, follow the signs that lead to the Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. The hike from the ski lift station to the viewpoint is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Be prepared for steep and rocky terrain, and wear appropriate footwear. If you prefer a taxi, the fare from Bansko to the ski lift area is around 10 BGN (Bulgarian Lev).
Hiking
If you are already in the Pirin Mountains and prefer to hike, you can start from the nearby trails leading to the Bansko Panoramic Viewpoint. Look for marked hiking trails such as the one starting from the Vihren hut. The hike can take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Always carry enough water and snacks, and ensure you have a map or a GPS device to navigate the trails.
