Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards the town of Banya, which is located in the Pirin Mountains. From Banya, take the main road leading north, following signs for Razlog. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a sign indicating the entrance to the Pirin National Park. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you see a fork; take the left fork. After another kilometer, you will see a parking area on the right side. Park your car here. From the parking area, follow the marked trail that leads towards Езеро, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill from the parking area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Bansko to Banya. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Banya, look for a local minibus or taxi service that can take you to the entrance of Pirin National Park. This ride will cost around 5-10 BGN and takes approximately 10 minutes. After arriving at the park entrance, you can either walk the remaining distance to Езеро (about 30 minutes uphill) or arrange for a local guide who can assist you for a fee.
