Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey towards Bansko. From there, follow the signs towards the Pirin National Park entrance. You will need to pay an entrance fee, which is usually around 5 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) per person. Once inside the park, follow the road towards the Bezbog hut (Bezbog Chalet). The road is unpaved but manageable for standard vehicles. It takes about 30 minutes from Bansko to reach the Bezbog hut parking area, which is the closest access point to Peak Bezbog.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Sofia to Bansko. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once in Bansko, you can hire a taxi or check for local shuttle services to the Bezbog hut. Make sure to confirm the cost beforehand; taxi fares can range from 20 to 30 BGN. The shuttle service may have a fixed rate, so inquire locally. Once you arrive at the Bezbog hut, you will be ready to start your hike to Peak Bezbog.
Hiking
From the Bezbog hut, the hike to Peak Bezbog is well-marked and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level. The trail is moderate and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
