Car from Bansko
If you are starting from Bansko, drive southeast on the main road (E79) towards the Pirin Mountains. Once you reach the junction towards the Pirin National Park, follow the signs to the Bunderitsa area. Park your car at the designated parking area near the Bunderitsa hut (approximately 15 km from Bansko). The parking may incur a small fee (around 5 BGN). From the parking area, follow the marked trail towards Upper Polezhan Lake, which is about a 2-3 hour hike uphill.
