Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Bansko. Head southeast on the main road (E79) towards Gotse Delchev. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto the road leading to the Pirin National Park entrance. Follow the road for about 14 km until you reach the parking area near the trailhead leading to the Водопад / Waterfall. Note that parking may have a small fee, typically around 5-10 BGN.
Public Transportation
To reach the Водопад / Waterfall via public transportation, you can take a bus from Bansko to the village of Dobrinishte. Once you arrive at Dobrinishte, look for local taxis or inquire at the bus station for options to get to the Pirin National Park entrance. The taxi fare is usually around 15-20 BGN. Upon reaching the entrance, prepare for a moderate hike to the waterfall, which will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
Hiking
Once you have parked your car or taken a taxi to the Pirin National Park entrance, follow the marked hiking trail towards Водопад / Waterfall. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep in some areas, so ensure you wear comfortable hiking shoes. Keep an eye out for trail markers to guide you. The hike is about 2 km one way and will take around 30-45 minutes to reach the waterfall.
