Orlova Chuka Cave, near Pepelina village, is Bulgaria's second-longest cave, stretching over 13,500 meters. Discovered in 1941, it features stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and a constant temperature of 14°C, offering a cool escape. Open to visitors from April to October, guided tours reveal its ancient past and unique formations.

Car
From Ruse, take the E85 road towards Razgrad. After approximately 35 km, turn right onto an unnumbered asphalt road towards Pepelina. Follow this narrow road for about 6 km to Orlova Chuka Cave. Parking is available near the cave entrance and is free of charge.
Public Transport
From Ruse, take a bus towards Dve Mogili. Get off at the turn-off for Ivanovo, then transfer to bus 501 towards Dve Mogili. From Dve Mogili, the cave can be reached by a very narrow, unnumbered asphalt road that branches off from road 501 between Ivanovo and Dve Mogili. The road leads to a decent-size parking, but there is another parking area further down the road, closer to the entrance. Getting to the cave is only possible either by car or an organized bus tour as there is no public transport to it. Bus fares from Ruse to Dve Mogili typically cost around 3 BGN.
