Walking
The Regional Historical Museum is located in the heart of Ruse, on pl. Kniaz Aleksander Batenberg. From Svoboda (Freedom) Square, walk east towards the Danube River. The museum is situated on the right side of the square, housed in a prominent, historic building. The walk is short and straightforward.
Public Transport
Ruse has a well-connected public transportation network of buses and trolleybuses. Several lines stop near the museum on Svoboda Square. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. A single fare typically costs around 1 BGN.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Ruse. A short taxi ride from the Ruse Central Railway Station or the Ruse Central Bus Station to the museum will cost approximately 5-10 BGN, depending on traffic and the taxi company.
Parking
If driving, parking is available on Alexander Battenberg Square, directly in front of the Regional Historical Museum. There are also free public parking lots on Major Atanas Uzunov Street, next to the National Revenue Agency building. Paid parking zones in Ruse cost 1.50 BGN per hour, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Underground parking is available under Arena Ruse for 2 BGN per hour.
