Public Transport
From the center of Shumen, walk to the Central Bus Station (Автогара Шумен). You can ask locals for directions if needed; it's a well-known location. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading towards Kyoshkovete. These buses typically run every 30 minutes. After boarding, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Kyoshkovete. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kyoshkovete, walk towards the marked paths leading to The Shumen Plato, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Shumen, head northeast on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Racho Petkov Street. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Kyoshkovete. You will cross a small bridge over a stream. Once you enter Kyoshkovete, look for signs indicating the direction to The Shumen Plato. The walk takes roughly 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
Bicycle Rental
If you're interested in cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Shumen. Once you have a bike, head towards the main road leading out of the city. Follow the same route as the walking directions, but you will be able to reach Kyoshkovete much quicker, in about 15-20 minutes. Upon entering Kyoshkovete, park your bike and continue on foot towards The Shumen Plato, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from where you'll park.
