The best tour taken so far

Definitely the best tour taken so far (and I have taken many), our guide, Adriàn, is a very knowledgeable archaeologist and took us on a, to say the least, comprehensive route covering the entire province. We started with the Valley of the Thracian Kings, where he showed us five tombs, and then continued with a visit to Stara Zagora, where he practically showed us everything, from the Domus with the mosaics to the museum (explaining every display case), to the beautiful Mosque, now a museum, to the Neolithic houses. Preparation and kindness make the difference... He also explained many details about the history of the country, from antiquity to today, also giving us useful tips on what we could do in the time we had left to spend in the city. My friend and I only regretted not taking a souvenir photo with him to remember the beautiful day... Thanks again! Obviously I recommend this tour to everyone (not just enthusiasts): when you have someone who explains the why and how of things, the flavor of them is different 😉

Wonderful Adventure with Friends

This tour gave us a much better understanding of the history and culture of both countries. We loved that it wasn't just about checking off famous landmarks, the guide also shared local stories and recommended places to try traditional food. The pace was comfortable, the accommodations were good, and the scenery along the drive was beautiful. Looking back, it was one of the most enjoyable trips we've taken in Europe.

We actually booked three trips with Bultrips, and also asked them to do a special one to visit a festival in a village. First, the three pre-planned trips. They were to Rila monastery and the Boyana Church; the Valley of the Thracian Kings and Augusta Trayana; and Mystical East Rhodope and the ancient city of Perperikon. The car was comfortable; the guides talkative, friendly, and adaptable to our needs, and the tours simply amazing. But also, we had asked if they could help organize something to see some rituals in a village in the mountains. This was not part of their normal tour offering, the hours were unusual (because this was a night event), and yet they delivered, even locating someone with experience with these festivities and actually excited to take us there! Contact with the agency was easy, they were always at the ready to answer questions, they really listened to what our special interests were, they always had suggestions for other parts of our trip... All in all, brilliant service. I'd choose them again for a future trip.
