Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Strandzha, head south on the main road towards Sozopol. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Sozopol. As you enter Sozopol, follow signs directing you to the historic center. Once in the center, navigate to ul. Milet 52, where the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower are located. There is usually street parking available nearby, but be aware of any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower via public transportation, take a bus from Strandzha to Sozopol. Buses typically depart from the central bus station in Strandzha. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Sozopol bus station, exit and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to ul. Milet 52. The fortress is within walking distance from the bus station, approximately 1 kilometer away.

• Walking

  Once you are in the center of Sozopol, you can easily walk to the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower. From the main square, head south towards the waterfront, then take a left onto ul. Milet. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will find the fortress on your right. The walk provides beautiful views of the sea and the town.
