Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Burgas, which is about 30 km away from St. Anastasia Island. Head southeast out of Burgas on the road E87 towards Sozopol. After approximately 18 km, take the exit towards the ferry terminal located at the Burgas Bay. Parking is available near the ferry terminal, but ensure you check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, take a bus from Burgas to Sozopol. Buses depart frequently from the Burgas Bus Station and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Sozopol, you will need to walk to the Sozopol ferry terminal located near the old town area. Tickets for the ferry can be purchased on-site, and the ferry ride to St. Anastasia Island takes approximately 30 minutes.
Ferry
The ferry to St. Anastasia Island departs from Sozopol. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as it operates on specific timings. The ferry ride costs around 10 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) for a round trip. Once you arrive at the island, enjoy the scenic views and explore the historical sites available.
