Car
If driving from Varna, take the E87 road north towards Kavarna, approximately 60 km away. From Kavarna, follow the signs for Cape Kaliakra, about 12 km southeast. A well-marked road leads to a parking area near the entrance. Be aware that there may be a small entry fee to access the site. Parking is free.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Varna Central Bus Station to Kavarna. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. From Kavarna, take a taxi to Cape Kaliakra, which is about a 15-minute drive. Taxi fare should be around 15-20 BGN. Alternatively, local minibuses may operate during the tourist season, but check local schedules.
Walking
From the parking area, the main attractions of Cape Kaliakra are easily accessible on foot. Follow the paved paths along the peninsula, taking in the views and historical sites. Be mindful of the steep cliffs and strong winds. The walk to the end of the cape and back takes approximately 1-2 hours.
