Muzeiko: Sofia's Interactive Science Adventure

Muzeiko is a modern science center in Sofia, Bulgaria, designed to spark curiosity and inspire learning through play. As the largest children's museum in Eastern Europe, it provides a dynamic and engaging environment for children and adults alike. The museum features over 130 interactive exhibits spread across three floors, each dedicated to a different era: past, present, and future. In the 'past' zone, children can explore archeology and geology, digging for dinosaur bones and learning about the earth's formation. The 'present' zone focuses on nature and architecture, teaching about ecosystems and sustainable building practices. The 'future' zone delves into space exploration, energy, and communications, encouraging kids to imagine the technologies of tomorrow. Muzeiko also offers a variety of daily activities, including science demonstrations, storytelling sessions, and open workshops in both science and art. The building itself is an architectural marvel, designed with transparency and lightness in mind, and incorporates sustainable features like its own energy production and rainwater recycling.
