Car
From Sofia, take the Ring Road (Sofia Ring Road) and follow the signs towards Vitosha Mountain. Once you reach the Vitosha Mountain area, park your car at the Vitosha Ski Resort parking lot, which is around 12 km from the city center. From the parking lot, follow the marked trails leading you towards Balkanity Hut. The hut is approximately a 1.5-hour hike from the ski resort, following the green trail markers.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Sofia to the village of Dragalevtsi. You can catch bus number 93 from the city center (Nadezhda bus station or Serdika metro station). After arriving in Dragalevtsi, transfer to the gondola lift (Dragalevtsi Lift) which will take you up to the Vitosha Ski Resort. From the top station of the gondola, follow the marked hiking trails towards Balkanity Hut, which is about a 1.5-hour hike away. Ensure to check the bus and lift schedules, as they can vary, especially in off-peak seasons.
