The site is located in Shami cell, Ngeruka sector, Bugesera district. Upon arrival, there is no entrance fee, but be prepared for any additional costs related to camping amenities.

For public transportation, take a bus from Kigali to Nyamata. Buses regularly depart from Nyabugogo Bus Station in Kigali. The fare is typically around 500 RWF.
