Getting there

Walking

From the center of Kirundo, head south towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Nationale 1. Walk for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see a sign for Nyanza on your right. Turn right and continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach Destination Nyanza, located at coordinates 2.354938, 29.750169.

Bicycle

Start at the main market in Kirundo. Ride south on Avenue de la République for about 600 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Nationale 1. Bicycle straight for 1 kilometer. Look for the sign for Nyanza on your right after this distance. Turn right and bike for an additional 300 meters to Destination Nyanza, which will be on your left.

Motorcycle taxi

Find a motorcycle taxi (commonly known as 'moto') from any central location in Kirundo, such as the market area. Inform the driver you want to go to Destination Nyanza. The driver will take you south towards Avenue de la République. They will then follow Route Nationale 1 and drop you off at the entrance of Nyanza, which is about 1.3 kilometers from the center of Kirundo.
