Look for signs indicating Ruvubu National Park; you will need to take a right turn onto a smaller road that leads into the park. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. Please note that you may need to pay a small entrance fee at the park gate.

From Buyogoma, locate the bus station, which is usually near the town center. Board a bus heading towards Ruyigi or any bus that indicates it stops near Ruvubu National Park. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to the park, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'boda-boda') to reach the park entrance, which could cost an additional 2,000 to 3,000 Burundian Francs.
