Walking
From the center of Cibitoke, start at the main square (Place de la Réconciliation). Head south towards Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Commerce. Turn left and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rue de l'Enseignement. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the edge of the city. You will see signs indicating the direction of Bujumbura. Continue walking straight as you leave Cibitoke behind, and after about 5 kilometers, you will reach a bus station where you can catch a minibus to Bujumbura.

Once you arrive at the bus station, look for a minibus heading to Bujumbura. The fare is usually around 1,500 BIF. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Kagwema Park in Bujumbura. The driver will stop at a designated area near the park. After disembarking, walk towards the green space where you will find Kagwema Park.
