Car
From the center of Makamba, head northwest on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue du 13 Octobre. Continue on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with the N1 road. Turn right onto N1 and follow the road for approximately 30 km. Once you reach Bujumbura, continue straight until you reach B.P. 2851 on 21 Avenue Cibitoke. Christa Farm will be located on your left. Ensure to have cash on hand for potential tolls along the route.
Public Transportation
From Makamba, take a public minibus (known as a 'taxi-brousse') heading to Bujumbura. You can catch these minibuses from designated stops in Makamba. The journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Bujumbura, ask to be dropped off near Avenue Cibitoke. From there, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to reach Christa Farm at B.P. 2851 21 Avenue Cibitoke. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the motorcycle taxi driver.
