Walking
From the center of Cibitoke, head east on Avenue du Commerce until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the main road and continue walking until you reach the bus station. At the bus station, look for a shared taxi (also known as a 'moto' or motorcycle taxi) heading towards Nyungwe Forest National Park. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to the park. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the entrance of the park.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Cibitoke. Start from the town center and head southeast on Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left and follow the road signs leading towards Nyungwe Forest National Park. The ride is scenic, but be cautious of the traffic. It will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to reach the park entrance.
Public Transport
From Cibitoke, walk to the nearest bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Nyungwe or Uwinka. The bus ride may take around 1 hour to reach the park's entrance. Make sure to ask the conductor to drop you off at Nyungwe Forest National Park. Be prepared for a bit of waiting time, as buses may not run frequently.
