The three days tour appeared to me truly complete; the best of Burundi, I guess, was visited. Visa Travel & Tours took care of all of the details to have the trip effective with preventive contacts with local people in the sites who explained whatever we were visiting as well as logistic tips (restaurants, hotels, car & gasoline) to avoid unwished surprises. However, more than the tour itself, what impressed me was the friendship which was developed during the tour with Silas (representative person of the agency), a friendship which made me feeling not to be a "tourist" looked after by an "agency" but a person taking a trip along with a friend. Moreover, friendship and nice welcomes were at the basis of the contacts with all of the people we've met during the tour. These people invited us in their homes, laughed with us, offered to us beer and food, had true and sincere conversations while dealing with us like friends instead of simply being occasional meeting. As a matter of fact, I wasn't surprised : Silas is a pleasant and brilliant guy, it goes without saying that his friends are expected to be similar to him.

Excellent experience

We did a 8-day private tour in Burundi, Hypolite was our guide and driver. The tour was so well planned to visit all the country highlights. But also we were able to modify the program according to our wishes and for example we visited a batwa village, the Gitega market or a fisher's village. Everything was perfect, so smooth, so safe, so quiet. Hypolite is an outstanding guide, with a great knowledge of the country, we have learnt so much with him and we thank him for his kindness and readiness to change or do anything we asked for.
