Car
From Munyika, head west on the main road towards Bujumbura. Follow the signs for 'Kibira National Park'. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left branch towards Busiga. Continue for another 5 km until you reach the entrance of Kibira National Park located at 2G22+225, Busiga. Parking is available at the entrance but ensure you have a valid entry ticket which costs around 5,000 BIF ($3 USD).

Public Transportation (Minibus)
From Munyika, locate the nearest minibus station. Take a minibus heading towards Bujumbura and inform the driver you want to stop at Busiga. The fare is approximately 1,500 BIF ($1 USD). After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Busiga. From there, you can either walk the remaining 3 km to the park entrance or hire a local motorcycle taxi (approx. 2,000 BIF or $1.50 USD) to take you directly to Kibira National Park.
