From the center of Muyinga, head towards Avenue de la Paix (the main road). Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Industrie. Turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and markets along the way. After reaching the outskirts of town, keep an eye out for signs pointing to Gishora Drum Sanctuary. Follow these signs which will lead you to a dirt road. Walk along the dirt road for about 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to the sanctuary on your right.
